Javorov do
The road starts at the car park. It's in a good condition and leads through a dense forest, which makes for pleasant summer walks. One of the first beauty spots along this route is the Klokovača cave. It is located by the trail. The entrance is undeveloped, rather steep and slippery.
Unlike Klokovača, Javorov do is well developed. A beautiful lake, a stone amphitheatre and a fortress on the nearby hillock make this a perfect resting spot. You have two options here: you can go back the same way you'd come, or continue to Štini do via Bijele vode. We chose the latter option. From Bijele voda take the road below the lodge to Štini do and Kuća spasa. A light breeze and a thick canopy of tree crowns will follow you all the way. At the foot of Javorak there is a spring of potable water, and the track goes on to Babin do, where it ends.
Although it is around 13 km long, the small altitude difference and easy terrain make this route an easy one, good for out-of-shape fellwalkers. Still, there is plenty to see along the way, you will enjoy the beauty spots of Mt Bjelašnica.
