This short but slightly challenging tour brings you back through the XIV century and offers magnificent views over Rakitnica canyon and Zupa valley.

This is a nice, short hike close by the village of Potkomlje and Kasici. It is a good tour before or after rafting, or swimming in Boracko Lake. Besides the extraordinary views from this not even 1000 m high peak, this path takes you past remnants of the medieval fortress of the noble family Sankovic.
Cross the meadow and the stone wall bank and look for the path. There are two caves on the way. After the second, follow the gully and out towards the rocky ridge, cross on the other side and follow the ridge for 20-30 m. Start climbing Kom summit along the ridge and move to its south side over the exposed terrain. From the grassy fields, go straight up to the summit and see the fortress remnants.

At the second cave, turn left and follow the gully. When you cross the ridge, turn right toward the Kom and right again to its south slopes.
Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel
There is a private minibus line from Sarajevo and/or Konjic to Bjelimici. Get off at the suspension bridge on the Neretva below Kasici.Anfahrt
From the suspension bridge on the Neretva, follow the local road to Kasici, further on to the cemetery and continue toward Potkomlje. This is part of the trail Kasici-Rakitnica-Lukomir (WTBH6-2).When you reach the local road coming from Potkomlje, turn right. You will reach the trailhead after a couple hundred meters at the fence of a pasture.
