By road

It’s a 30min drive from Sarajevo to Pazarić village. From Pazarić, follow the asphalt road to Ljubovcici village in direction of Bjelasnica Mountain. At the end of the village, there is a small local shop. From there, go left towards "Podgradina" lodge. Locals and mountaineers call this trail “Over Bor” (bor- eng. Pine). After 15 min walk you will notice the trail mark and will enter the deep wood. Follow the trail marks and after 30min through the dense forest with the rise of about 60% you will arrive at the first break spot called "Hair česma".

From there, for about 30min, the trail leads on to another break point called "Bor". There are benches where you can rest and enjoy your snack. On the left side, if hiking in the summer, there are wonderful steep meadows of ramsons (buckrams, wild garlic, broad-leaved garlic, wood garlic, bear leek or bear's garlic), lots of flowers and other plants. Next resting point from Bor is at 30min walk on a gravel road, where hikers and villagers usually take a short break before arriving at the "Salihagina bajta" spot, from where you enter into the woods again.
                                                                             
To Salihagina bajta spot, it’s 15min walk through the mint meadows-keep on the right side. After 20min, on your right, you will notice the wooden remains of "Salihagina bajta". From there, take the right turn and follow the trail mark all the way. The path is quite wide and visible. After 15 min walk you’ll come to a crossroads with hiking signposts. Follow the one that leads to Podgradina direction. From that point it will take you 20 min to the lodge.

Parking

You can park your vehicle in Ljubovcici village.
