Mount Romanija was a route after a rush down the enemy encirclement in the famous battle of Sutjeska.
The main operational group from the Supreme Headquarters headed undertake offensive actions towards eastern Bosnia and the occasion released a number of places that have previously been hostile strongholds. In this way Partisan and Tito arrived in the village Bogovići on Romania. Tito was in a cave above the village from 18 to 20 June 1943. There is a cave in front of Savo Orović photographed injured Josip Broz Tito and Dr. Ivan Ribar. Josip Broz Tito was wounded on June 9, 1943 on Mount Ozren, under Tjentište, during the Battle of Sutjeska.
Today still at the entrance to Tito's cave is part of the board, reminiscent of war in the Second World War and the heroic struggle of our people against fascism.

Cave can be reached from Pale, there are many daily buses to Pale from East Sarajevo and Belgrade.By road
