Rakitnica is one of the largest tributaries of the Neretva River, located between the Bjelašnica and Visočica Mountain
The canyon of the Rakitnica River is 26 km long canyon and one of the deepest in Europe, which attracts many tourists due to its pristine nature. From canyon, there is a hiking trail along the ridge of the Rakitnica canyon, which drops 800m below, all the way to famous village of Lukomir.
