Hrčavka Canyon is absolutely beautiful wild canyon, located in the Sutjeska National Park. Canyon has been eexplored only a few years ago, and commercial canyoning tours are organized only since 2014.

Hrčavka River rises at the eastern slopes of the mountain of Oboreno Točilo. It winds through a narrow canyon between Orlin and Pasa-Lipov trough, Stružina and Gradina, breaking up on its rocky cliffs and rushing to meet Sutjeska River. On this short journey, numerous rivers and streams join Hrčavka River, and those are mostly sterams coming down from Treskavac, Oruf, Careva gora and Trebova.

Take a bus from Foča to Tjentište. If the bus line does not operates, than take a cab in Foča.

By road

If you decide to discover the beauty of this area, it is recommended to go from Sarajevo to Tjentište. Take the dirt road towards the Tođevac village and walk to the Skakavac waterfall.

Parking

You can leave your vehicle by the roadside in the Tođevac village.
