Easy, technically undemanding fell-walk. It's possible to take a break at the lodge in Devečani before heading out to Paljenik.

One of the Vlašić-bound roads is the road to Galica. You may walk close to the ridge and enjoy the view of the valley in the direction of Travnik. It takes around an hour to reach the lodge at Devečani. From the lodge, the road leads to the peak. The way back is towards Galica. The track is 8 km long, and you can rest at the Viennese cafe in Travnik and the wayside restaurant "Vlašićka kuća".

Turn-by-turn directions
Go east from the road, along the trail with winter markings (sticks). The trail leads to the lodge in Devečani, and from there you should head north to the peak of Paljenik. The Devečani lodge is about halfway to the peak. From Paljenik head southwest to Galica, shortening the way back.
There is also a road from Galica to Paljenik via Devečani, but it's a lot longer, and in winter it's not passable by car most of the time.
Public transport
Take a bus to Travnik, then look for transport to Galic.By road
Take the motorway from Sarajevo to Zenica, get off in Lašva and head towards Travnik. When you arrive in Travnik, a road will branch off on the right to Galica. If it's been snowing and the road to Galica hast not yet been cleared proceed to Turbe instead and turn right on the road to Vlašić (the road to Banja Luka via Kotor Varoš) and you'll reach Galica via Babanovac.Parking
