The trail begins 400 meters south of the stećci above lake Štirin and goes off the track "Put Dr. Jovo Elčić" towards Kotlaničko lake and follows the old path built by nomadic herders, who were here until 15 years ago. Kotlaničko lake is located in a basin (bos. kotlina), which is how it got its name.

The most beautiful and deepest lake is lake Zelengora. Its maximum depth is 10 meters and it is rich in brown trout.

Pridvorica is rich in cultural and natural heritage. It is located at 930 meters above sea level below Zelengora mountain. River Pridvorica passes through Pridvorica. It is 2 km long, with a beautiful large spring at the top of the village. Water from Kotlaničko lake makes up most of the springs. Below the village, the river flows into the Neretva river.

Turn-by-turn directions

The trail begins 400 meters south of the stećci above lake Štirin and goes off the track "Put Dr. Jovo Elčić" towards Kotlaničko lake and follows the old path built by nomadic herders who were here until 15 years ago. On the south side is Mt Prutača, 1830 meters high, on the northwest are the slopes of Dumoš, and on the east is Zimomor. From lake Zelengora, the trail continues southwest towards Donja Kotlanica and after 800m you reach spring Raduljica. From the spring, the trail turns west and after a short ascent it reaches a plateau and continues towards Vlaško Polje, which is located between the mountains Dumoš and Javorje. At the beginning of Vlaško Polje there is an intersection with signposts. Here the trail turns south and slowly ascents towards the mountain pass. On the east side is mountain peak Kotur, and on the west is Mt Javorje. After 1500 m the trail turns to the west slopes of Mt Javorje and continues along a rocky and steep slope in a westerly direction and reaches hill Junak from where there is view of Pridvorica. Here the trail turns south down a steep flat slope covered with grass and after 1 km of descent you arrive above Pridvorica. From here it turns east along a herder trail and after 200 m turns south over a dry gully, and then west along the gully and through the woods and after 1 km you reach Pridvorica.
