· Dalmatia
From the hiking perspective, the most attractive and the most natural route of Via Dinarica is the one that continues along the elevated zone of Troglav and Kamešnica to the southeast, right after crossing the peak of Dinara. This path is also known as the "Operation Storm Trail", with the hiking association Dinaridi from Split in charge of trail maintenance.

Distance 11 km
The starting point for the climb towards Troglav is the source of the Cetina River. This is the beginning of a marked hiking trail leading towards the mountain shelter Rupa and further on towards Lišanjski vrh. In the high elevation zone, the marked route crosses the state border, continuing to the southwest across the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina towards the peak of Troglav (1913 m.a.s.l.). The state border is not marked in the terrain. Crossing of the state border is not allowed outside of border crossing points; however, hikers exploring the border areas in the high elevation zone of Troglav and Kamešnica have not encountered problems so far.
