Una National Park Trail Run
This trail goes through remote landsacapes of Una National Park-North zone and leads you to Štrbački buk waterfalls.
First part (4,5 km) gravel paths climbing through beech forests lead to the central part of north zone of the Park and ascend to the pass of Ljutoč peak. After first part path goes downhill through forests and traversing open grasslands. Runers gain views of the Una canyon and beyond, before undertaking a thrilling descent through beech and pine forests to the river Una.
The total length of the route is 13.400 m. All route is gravel, forest road and hiking paths.
Author’s recommendation
Runers must have very good fitness and experience descending on loose gravel and cobbles.

Public transport
Take the bus at bus station for local bus lines in Bihać to Kulen Vakuf. After 13 km is bus stop Gorjevac (ask driver to stop the bus), continue by foot to main road and after 200 m go right (big sign "Nacionalni park Una-Štrbački buk 14 km), walk 150 m and you will se ranger station and entrance no. 1 Gorjevac.
