Bogodol - Velika Vlajna

Departure is from the village of Bogodol. The southern face of Čabulja is bare and easily surveyable. If you take the road around 2km to the east of the marked trail, at 1400 MASL you will reach the marked trail agail. The trail from the saddle to the summit is well-marked.

At the junction, side roads branch off to Velika Vlajna, Bogodol, Kilava Bukva and Čuljak. This is where the road enters a beech forest, and there is a swamp not far. The area around swamp at the foot of Velika Vlajna is developed into a park of sorts. You can take a break there.

The final ascent, although not very long, is rather demanding, due to the large unstable stones on the trail that slide easily. It takes about half an hour more to the top. The cliff, over 1500 metres high, commands a wonderful view of the canyon of Drežnica. The return is the same way you came.
