Čavljak-Crepoljsko-Bukovik
There is a circular 4-km path around Čavljak which leads through the forest. If you want to go to Bukovik you can choose either the leftward or the rightward path from the mountain lodge. If you feel that you are not physically ready for a 16-km walk, you can still make a tour around Čavljak and enjoy the nature.
A macadam road which is in rather good shape leads to Crepoljsko and it can be traversed in an off-road vehicle. Crepoljsko summit is located directly on the road to Bukovik. If you want to visit it, you need to turn off the main road for no more than few hundred meters.
Bukovik summit (1534 m above sea level) is visible throughout the route and the easiest way to recognize it is by mobile telephony antennas and an aircraft radar on it. Near the summit, you can either turn right and pass that section of the road via shortcut through the woods, or proceed along the road. This turn is marked by a wooden signpost so it is almost impossible to miss. However, both paths end at the lodge beneath Bukovik. Those few hundred meters to the summit represent the only climb worth mentioning along this route.
