Čelina-Sofe

This route starts in the village of Čeline on Trebević, approximately 15 km away from Sarajevo. From Čeline, the trail proceeds in the direction of Puhova Ravan which can be reached in about ten minutes and it is located directly below the eastern ridge along which it goes all the way to the summit. The summit can be reached by a narrow hiking trail along which one will be guided by occasionally faded markings on the rocks, as well as sporadic tape flags on the branches. The trail leads through areas with low vegetation, and is a steady climb with magnificent views that encompass both Romanija and Jahorina on one side and Bjelašnica and Treskavica on the other.

From the summit onwards, the route descends along the western ridge all the way to the picnic area of Brus. To the right of the ridge, one can find a forest path leading to Brus which is adequately marked with signposts and hiking signs. This wide trail is great for walking, jogging and cycling and it leads across the gravel road to the summit in one direction which is well-marked. The path continues on to destroyed Dobre Vode lodge from which it is possible to reach the area of Brus very quickly.
