Trebević via Eastern Ridge

There are many paths leading to the summit of Trebević and one of them which you can use for that purpose leads across the eastern ridge, with a return route via the western ridge. The starting point is in front of the Napredak Lodge, where you can prepare for the start of the climb. The first section of the trail leads through the woods and it is rather inconvenient for walking. Next to the devastated lodge Dobre Vode, the serpentine trail leads to the lookout, which is to be followed by turning left and following the marked path to the eastern ridge. The forest path ends here and it offers views of Romanija and Jahorina. Proceeding further towards the ridge allows one to catch a glimpse of Treskavica, Visočica and Bjelašnica. The return route leads across the western ridge.
